In this case study we showcase the exciting growth of Therese Hoyle, a Worcestershire entrepreneur working with local schools.

Therese developed a new strategic approach to maximise opportunities for increased cash flow.

The problem she faced as a business owner

When Therese began one-to-one business coaching with Real World Consultancy her main aims were to:

Learn how to grow the business
Learn how to generate consistent cashflow.
Wanted to understand the best approach for hiring an associate.

How we helped

At the beginning, Therese had a Business Strength Analyser score of %. (This is an amalgamation of scores for products and services, sales, customers, strategy, team, finance, technology, formalities, and wider impact.)

During the coaching sessions, we worked on her customer journey, and outlined the next steps to bring associates in.

We focused on organising a clear calendar of events for the year ahead so she can approach her target audience at the correct time in the year, meaning a better chance of winning new work. `

We also built a strategic plan for the next 3 months. Worked on keeping the website up to date and developing an objective to target a new area in order to expand her client reach.

The Results

By the end of the business coaching support, Therese has a new strategy in place to target her clients at the correct time in order to win consistent cash-flow.

In the final Business Strengths Assessment, her scores had increased in every category with an overall increase of 13%.

We worked hard to improve her business owner strengths including productivity and work/life balance. Her sales showed an increase of 69% and customers increased by 21% after focusing on the customer journey and a new strategic plan to drive new income.

As a result of her hard work, Therese won the RWC Innovative Business of the Year award in 2023. Therese has developed new programmes and products from scratch to support schools which have led to strong business growth and the ability to scale up with a team.
