The problem she faced as a business owner

When Margaret began her one-to-one business coaching with Real World Consultancy her main aims were to:

Plan her first art exhibition in Worcestershire
Start an Etsy store to sell her art
Create a website and build a personal brand
Build business to business collaborations by selling her greetings cards and prints wholesale
Partnering with interior designers, property managers and more.

How we helped

At the beginning, Margaret’s Business Strength Analyser score was 22%. This is an amalgamation of scores for products and services, sales, customers, strategy, team, finance, technology, formalities, and wider impact.

During the coaching sessions we focused on creating a strategy for Margaret’s business including the benefits of selling online on various platforms, creating a plan for networking to meet potential partners and have ideas for various collaborations.

We also introduced her to our own online goal setting sessions and free networking events to kickstart the process of introducing her to our Worcestershire Business network.

The Results

By the end of the programme Margaret’s strategy was being implemented and she had marketing plans for the various strands of her business, her website was launched, and sales were starting to roll in.

In the follow-up Business Strengths Analyzer, Margaret’s scores had increased in every category with an overall increase of 152%.

In terms of her personal business owner strengths, these scores had boosted by 6X in each of the four categories, (confidence as a business owner, satisfaction with business, work/life balance and being focused and productive.)
