Businesses Collaborating, Creating and Growing Together

CSR

We love to see stories of businesses working together and supporting each other throughout their business growth journeys.

Thanks to the Enterprising Worcestershire Business Coaching programme, which is funded by Worcestershire County Council, Gemma Bennet and Becci Picketts have been brought together and were able to collaborate at the latest Artisan Wedding Market.

Here's what Becci and Gemma had to share about the event and their work on the Enterprising Worcestershire Business Coaching Programme...

RubyBelle Events

Passionately supporting creative wedding businesses in The Midlands

RubyBelle Events wedding markets provide local artisan makers, designers and creative businesses with new opportunities to be visible within the Wedding Industry.

The unique Wedding Market concept offers them a platform to showcase and sell their products, and together with the knowledgeable expertise of traditional wedding businesses' they create an authentic shopping experience for Couples who are looking to inject more of their personality into their Wedding Day, right down to the very smallest, personal touches and details.

They are a space that wholeheartedly encourages individuality, embraces creativity and thrives on personal interactions.

"Esther introduced Gemma and I as we are both working with her through the Enterprising Worcestershire Business Coaching Programme and we immediately hit it off. My wedding markets focus on showcasing and promoting creative businesses who make the finer details for a couples wedding, and Gemma’s personalised Wedding prints are the perfect gift to be given." - Becci Picketts

Art In Recovery

Producing designs that are colourful, cheeky and fun to uplift your mood and make you smile

Art in Recovery (AiR) was born in the Summer of 2020, during the worldwide pandemic. When the world stopped, I (Gemma) hit rock bottom with my mental health and addiction. After reaching out to get help from various organisations, I am now in recovery and re-building my life.

AiR came to me as the most fitting name as, for the first time in many years, after reaching out for help and being honest about how unwell I was and that I was not coping, I could finally breathe again. I felt relieved that people had compassion and understanding, and wanted to help me get well.

“From doing the EW Business Coaching Programme funded by Worcestershire County Council and being coached by Esther, my business has moved at a rapid rate. I have also met some other wonderful business people and subsequently did my first wedding market with Becci who runs RubyBelle Events. I met lots of lovely supportive other business women. It was a brilliant day and turn out despite the rain, I have had an increase in followers and enquires since doing the Wedding event, was worth every minute!" - Gemma Bennett
